Man United’s Fall

 

Manchester United used to be famous for maintaining clean sheets in European away games which led them to be one of the dominating force in European club football and paved the way for many teams to model their tactics on.

In spite of this historical solidity away from home, the tables have turned on Mourinho’s men with them having conceded in their previous 7 consecutive encounters away from home in European games.

This downward spiral chart with downward trend began last season with Louis Van Gaal’s disastrous tenure which is surprising for a coach who is famous for playing tight games away from home. New manager, Mourinho, has also not been able to stop the flow of goals having lost 2-1 in their previous game against PSV Eindhoven.

The prospects don't seem to be bright for United but lets keep hoping for a better tomorrow.
